2011 Self-Study

Students leaning on rail Ozarka College is accredited as an institution of higher education by the North Central Association of the Higher Learning Commission. The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) evaluates Ozarka College through two processes, a self-study report and a peer evaluation. Throughout the 2009-2010 academic year, Ozarka College evaluated itself against the Five HLC Criteria for Accreditation and documented this evaluation in the Ozarka College Self-Study.
The Self-Study has a dual function for the College, the accreditation process and self-improvement. As such, the Self-Study identifies College strengths, fulfillment of accreditation requirements, and opportunities for improvement. The peer evaluation is scheduled for November 15 through 17, 2010, at which time an evaluation team of four HLC representatives will visit the College to validate the Self-Study.
