We have received initial approval from the Arkansas State Board of Nursing to offer an LPN to RN Associate of Applied Science Degree in Registered Nursing program. Beginning in January 2024, the Registered Nursing program will transition from consortium membership to an independent program. This new program will provide an opportunity for Ozarka College to better serve its students by offering face-to-face instruction and increased interaction with nursing faculty.

Applications for the 2024 class will be accepted June 1, 2023 through August 31, 2023. To be eligible to apply for the program, applicants must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or currently enrolled in an LPN program with a completion date prior to the end of the current calendar year. In addition, all program pre-requisites must be completed by December 2023 with a 2.5 GPA or greater.

To apply, complete an online application to Ozarka College at www.ozarka.edu and indicate Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing as the intended college major. Applicants will receive additional information via email regarding their next steps towards completion of the application process.
