Ozarka College welcomes Kim Childress as the new Director for the TRIO Department.

" Her extensive knowledge of services available to students, familiarity with higher education, and desire to help students succeed will have a lasting impact on the students she serves."

"As a first-generation, low-income student, I know how crucial it is to have the right support system in place to navigate the challenges of higher education and to break down the barriers that can stand in the way of success. Stepping into the role of Director of TRIO Student Support Services is a true honor, and I'm excited to work with the TRIO team to help remove obstacles for our students, ensuring they have the support and opportunities to reach their full potential, " said Kim.

A native of Batesville, AR, Childress earned a Master of Education degree from the University of Arkansas - Little Rock and a Master of Science degree from Arkansas Tech University. Welcome to Ozarka Kim!
